Skills, connectors and tasks
What Pollo knows how to do, the apps it connects to and what it does on its own. All of it is in Settings β Personalize and Tasks.
Skills
A skill is a set of instructions for a kind of task: how to make a PDF, an Excel file, a presentation, a chart, use Python, save to Pollo FILES⦠There are more than thirty built in. Pollo reads the one that fits your message on its own.
- In Personalize β Skills, "Yours" are the ones you have and "Discover", the rest. Some only work in the desktop app or the terminal, and it says so.
- You can create or import your own, in the same format as Claude's (a folder with a
SKILL.md).
Connectors
A connector links Pollo to another app so it can use it for you. There is a catalog of more than a thousand, taken from the official MCP registry. Some ask you to sign in with your account in that app. Pollo asks for permission before using one that changes something.
Scheduled tasks
Things Pollo does on its own when it is time: every hour, every day, Monday to Friday, every week or just once. They are created in Tasks or by asking in a chat ("every Monday at 9, summarize the news for me").
- On the web, they run in the cloud, even with your computer off. They can only search and read websites.
- In the desktop app, also on your computer, with your folder, while the app is open.
Memory between chats
Pollo can keep what you ask it to remember ("remember that I work in Valencia") and look it up in other chats. It can be turned off in Settings.
