How credits work

Each AI message consumes a number of credits proportional to the tokens it uses (text in + text out + tools). The cost depends on the model and the tier:

With Premium, multiply all of it by ten.
This page used to say "plenty for ~40-200 messages a day" without distinguishing the tier, and that gave a false impression. If you work in Summum — which is free, and tempting to just leave switched on — the real count is closer to ten messages than to two hundred. Same with Pollo Utility in Complejo mode. If your day seems to run out immediately, this is why: drop to Luces for everyday use and save Summum for what actually needs it.

There are two counters: the day's and the week's

The daily allowance refills every 24 hours. On top of it there is a weekly one, which is four times the daily figure rather than seven, on purpose: that way you can have four heavy days in a row, or spread the spending across the week, but not run flat out all seven days.

This second window used to be monthly, and it was miscalculated: it granted less than the daily allowance promised, so anyone using their full quota every day got blocked halfway through the month with no idea why. With a weekly window, the longest you ever wait is until the week resets.

Live counter: The settings panel shows your remaining credits in real time, for the day and for the week. The platform warns you when you are running low.

Why one-time payment instead of monthly subscription?

Most AI services charge $20-30 per month. Pollo Assistance bets the opposite: you pay $25 once and use the platform forever. We make money by:

What's NOT included

Important: The $25 payment gives you lifetime access to Pollo Assistance, but does NOT give you unlimited AI calls. The platform has its own credit system: each AI response consumes credits, and we have daily/monthly limits to prevent abuse. In practice, normal-user limits are very generous.

How to get Premium

It cannot be bought right now. Premium sales are paused while the receiving account finishes being verified: with sales open, the money would land in a restricted account it could neither be withdrawn from nor refunded out of, and we would rather charge nobody under those conditions. The Premium page shows that notice instead of the button.

When it reopens, the “⭐ Premium” button in the top bar leads to payment through Ko-fi. Once it is confirmed your account turns Premium on its own, with nothing else for you to do. (PayPal is what marketplace extensions are bought with, not Premium.)
