How payments work
Paid extensions are switched off right now.
Only free extensions can be published and installed.
Why: checkout was wired to PayPal's sandbox, not the real thing. No actual money came in, but the extension was still installed and the author's revenue counter went up anyway โ piling up debts to developers for sales that never happened. That's why it was turned off.
Until production PayPal is connected, you cannot earn money from an extension, and this page is not going to tell you otherwise.

When it comes back, this is how it will work, and the split below is the one written in the code:
- The buyer sees a PayPal button inside the modal, with the price, the author's share and Pollo Assistance's share.
- Once the payment clears, the extension installs itself in their account.
- What the author earns accumulates in their account.
- The payout goes out once the accumulated amount passes โฌ10.
Tip: If you're not Premium yet but plan to publish many extensions, the $25 plan pays for itself with just a few sales (the 35% โ 80% jump more than triples your share).
